From $500 to $1.5K — Then Back to Nothing. Here's How I'm Rebuilding Smarter
I’ve blown more accounts than I can count — but I’m still here, rebuilding one trade at a time. This isn’t about getting rich. It’s about becoming whole.

There’s no sugarcoating it: I blew multiple accounts.
I’ve been trading for years, trying every strategy, tweaking every indicator, chasing every hope of freedom. And for the longest time, all I found was loss. Over and over again.
This isn’t just another trading journey post. This is a turning point. Because for once, I stopped trying to win — and started trying to understand.
My Breaking Point
It was recent.
I deposited $500 into a new account. I played it calm, focused. I grew it to $1,500.
It felt incredible. I even withdrew $500.
But like many times before, the emotion kicked in. I broke my plan. I over-leveraged. I revenge traded.
And I lost everything.
Technically, I broke even. But mentally, I felt like I lost everything. And honestly? That hurt more.
What I Did Next
I didn’t give up.
Instead, I simplified.
I went back to raw structure: breakout entries, clean charts, higher time frame understanding. I started using TradingView for charting and alerts, and Tradezella to journal my emotions, mistakes, and wins.
Every trade now is planned. Small goals: $30–$150 per trade. Not to get rich fast, but to prove to myself that I can build slow. And steady.
What I’ve Learned
- You don’t need to win every trade.
- You need clarity, not complication.
- Journaling your trades is like journaling your soul.
And most of all: You are not a failure just because you fell.
I’ve fallen more times than I can count. But I’m still here. And if you’re reading this, so are you.
Tools I Use Now
🔹 TradingView — for clean charting, alerts, and simplifying price action.
🔹 Tradezella — for serious journaling, tracking, and self-review.
These are my actual tools. I use them every day. No pressure to sign up, but they’ve helped me a ton and I genuinely recommend them.
Why I’m Here
This is just one of the many stories I have about blowing accounts. I’ve been in dark places. I’ve felt like I lost everything.
But I’m still here.
And now I’m building something new.
Not just for me, but for others too. I want to create something that encourages, teaches, and helps those who feel alone in their journey.
